Inspired by the acclaimed 1997 teleplay starring Brandy and Whitney Houston, this version of the magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance.
AUDITION INFO: September 19 and 20 - 6pm REHEARSALS: Parent/Cast Meeting and First Rehearsal - Tuesday, Sept 27. Weekly rehearsals, Mondays and Tuesdays from 5-8pm, October 3 - December 1. *Some Saturdays will be added as we approach opening night. **Not all cast members are called to rehearsal every week. DRESS/TECH REHEARSALS: Show Load In - Dec 3 December 4 - 8 SHOWS/PERFORMANCES: December 9 at 9am, 7pm December 10 at 10:30am and 7pm December 11 at 2:00pm *Special Princess Event on December 10th at 3pm. Some cast members will be asked to participate.* Cost: $50 per cast member. $35 for multi-family members Ages: 4-18+ (Adults and College students are welcome!) |

How to audition:
New to theatre? Read over this!
During the course of this process, cast members will audition, rehearse and perform the full-length play, learn the process from audition to performance, and develop rehearsal techniques and professional etiquette.
Rehearsals are 3 hrs long and will include instruction in singing, dancing, and acting. Every person that signs up is in the show!
How will this program help my child?
Your child will learn to develop their speech, how to use eye contact, body language and the joy of storytelling using their body and their voice. Confidence and communication will grow as they work within an ensemble to create a magical world of their own, a place where dreams really do come true!
- Pick a song that shows off your best vocal abilities. We want to see you shine!
- Memorize about one minute of the song and prepare to sing it for us.
- At the audition, you will be asked to sing your song for our directors. *We understand that auditions can be scary. If you are uncomfortable singing in front of others but you still want to be in the show, we will have you sing with a group to make the audition experience more comfortable.*
