The following costumes are being provided by CCT (assuming they fit): Dorothy, The Lion, The Tin Man, The Scarecrow, Glinda, The Wicked Witch, Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, Zeke, Hunk, Hickory, Mrs. Gulch, Oz Doorman/Guard, The Wizard/Professor Marvel
General Note for ALL costumes: Try to stick with the traditional colors/styles of the characters from the movie, unless specified otherwise. Browse thrift stores and your own closets before going out and spending a lot somewhere else. The amount of money you spend will be up to you. Use the images below for inspiration.

Mayor of Munchkin Land - For the hat, try looking for a leprechaun hat. They would probably be easier to find then green top hats. Green pants, green jacket, colorful and patterned vest. Any color shirt is fine for underneath the vest. Make sure you buy larger sizes so that you can stuff his belly with a pillow or something similar. Colorful blue bow tie. Shoes can be black, brown or green if you get lucky. If he wants, you can add a little mustache too.

Coroner Munchkin - I've seen both blue and purple done for this costume, so it's up to you what color you go with. You'll mostly just need a cape in whatever color you choose. If you can't find one like the first two photos, you can usually find a blue graduation gown in thrift stores and cut it to size. For the hat, just a matching wide brim hat would be okay. I've also seen the middle costume online if you don't want to piece it together. It really doesn't matter what you wear underneath the cape, so if you want to wear your other costume under, that's fine. Black jazz shoes.

Barrister Munchkin - You’ll need a long robe. It really doesn't matter the color. The man in the movie has a burgundy one, but it's up to you and whatever you can find. There are many places you can search to find one that will work. Try church robes, graduation robes, or over-sized women’s night gowns/robes, cut to size. You might could even order something similar. You’ll also need to add the white fabric like in the photo. Black pants and shoes.

City Fathers - You'll want to get a look similar to this and have fun with it. Choose any bright colors. Coat, vest, bow tie, and colorful pants. Don't worry about stuffing the bellies, we aren't going to do that with them. Don't worry about a wig either, we've got some fun hair ideas.

Lollipop Guild - Any color plaid shirt (just make sure you each have a separate color), any color shorts to coordinate, colored/striped socks, and brown/black flat shoes (ie loafers, dress shoes, etc). Make sure you cut off the ends of the shirts and shorts similar to these photos. You can add the white peter pan or pointy collar if you want, but it's not required. Feel free to add any additional fun trim or buttons as you wish.

Lullaby League - Pink Ballerinas. I really don't care what you come up with as long as you all look the same. It's important to coordinate with each other so that you match exactly. Pink tutus, leggings or tights, leotard or tank, added fringe, and a hat. If you google "lullaby league hat" you can usually find really great tutorials on how to make them. Pink ballet slippers.

Munchkins - Stick with the traditional look of the Munchkins from the movie, while also getting creative and making it your own. Pastel and Bright colors of the rainbow. Try to avoid greys, blacks, and browns. You should literally look like a basket of Easter candy. Feel free to play around and piece things together. Browse thrift stores before going out and spending a lot somewhere else. If you purchase a pre-made costume online, please add items and materials to it so that we do not end up with 20 of the same munchkin costumes onstage. Use the images provided for inspiration. **If your child is also a Poppy, consider green or red tights to make the costume change easier for your child.

OZIANS - This includes everyone in the Emerald City scene. The main idea of this costume is to be quirky and green. ONLY shades of green (emerald and turquoise are acceptable) should be used in your costume. If pops of yellow, white, gold or little black appear, that's okay, but keep the dominant colors green. You can style yourself in any way you want. Add accessories, hats, hairpieces, etc. Comfortable shoes! I do not recommend heels unless they are character stage shoes. Pro tip - DON'T put together your costume until you have learned your choreography. You want to make sure you can comfortably move around on stage.
**This Costume Guide is NOT for the Wizard or the Guard/Doorman**

Poppies - You will need green leggings or tights (any shade of green is fine), a red or green top (does not have to be sleeveless), some type of red or green skirt (this can be made any way: tutu, regular skirt, dance skirt, etc). You will also need a headpiece of your own choosing. You can make a small flower crown, a medium size headband like the first pic, or a very large flower hat like the last photo. Flats or ballet shoes, preferably black, brown, green or red, but skin toned is acceptable.

Flying Monkeys - You will need pants and a long sleeve shirt in either brown, black or grey (make sure top and bottom are the same color). Dark colored shoes that aren't slippery. Try to use the same shoes for both the munchkin and monkey costumes (easier for the costume change).
**WE are providing the wings, ears, hats, and vests for them.**

WINKIE ARMY - Right now, you only need black pants, a black long sleeve shirt, and black shoes. We are ordering and making the other parts of your costume.

Crows - You will need a black long sleeve top, black bike/dance/exercise shorts, and black/yellow stripe tights or leggings. Black shoes. You will be in charge of attaching the "feathers" to your shirt sleeves like the last two photos here. Basically, you need a cheap hula/straw skirt, spray paint it black, then sew or hot glue it to the sleeves. Keep the length short, like in the photos.
**We will be providing your masks and vests.**

Apple Trees - Create your own base design. Choose either black or brown as your starting color. Get either a dress, skirt and top, or top and pants. Then accessorize it with leaves, vines and a few fake apples. If you're really feeling creative, paint on "tree texture" with the opposite color. Flat shoes.
**We will provide the headpieces.**

Jitterbugs AND Tornado/Rainbow Dancers:
You will need solid black long sleeve shirts and leggings or tights. These needs to be form fitting so make sure you don't look slouchy. The shirt can be a turtleneck if you already have one. You will need to wear black flats or jazz shoes with this.

*Jitterbugs: I have ordered you wings, masks, and bow ties.*
*Dancers: I have ordered your flags and wings.
